Senior UX/UI Designer
Position Summary
We’re looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer who’s passionate about crafting digital experiences that are not just beautiful but also intuitive, accessible, and strategically sound.
In this role, you’ll take the lead on UX/UI design projects for a B2B client, transforming research and requirements into high-fidelity prototypes and polished interfaces. You’ll collaborate closely with product teams, developers, and fellow creatives to ensure every design decision supports both the brand and the end user.
You’ll also be expected to mentor junior designers, contribute to design systems, and advocate for best practices across web, app, and interactive platforms.
This is a fully remote role with a team that spans EU and US time zones, so schedule flexibility is essential.
What You’ll Do
- Own the full UX/UI process from research to wireframes, prototypes, and final handoff
- Create scalable, consistent design systems that balance user needs with brand goals
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and synthesize findings into actionable insights
- Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth handoffs and design fidelity in build
- Translate business goals and user needs into clean, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces
- Design responsive layouts, intuitive navigation, and engaging user interactions
- Apply UX best practices, accessibility standards (WCAG), and UI heuristics
- Present your design work clearly to both internal teams and external clients
- Mentor junior designers and help improve overall design quality across projects
- Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and technologies
What You Bring
- 6+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably in a fast-paced agency or product environment
- Expert in Figma (component libraries, design systems, prototyping)
- Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and visual hierarchy
- Portfolio that showcases thoughtful design, problem-solving, and attention to detail
- Experience with responsive design across web, mobile, and interactive platforms
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and how designs translate into development
- Familiarity with usability testing tools, user feedback loops, and performance optimisation
- Excellent communication skills, verbal, written, and visual
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Bonus points if you’ve worked across teams in multiple time zones
What We’re Looking For
- A creative problem-solver who cares deeply about the user experience
- Someone who can balance creative vision with practical execution
- A collaborator who enjoys cross-functional teamwork and async feedback
- A clear and confident communicator (especially when explaining design decisions)
- Someone who can work independently but also support and guide junior teammates
- Availability to work within EU and US time zone overlaps
Perks & Work Setup
- Full-time remote role with a long-term client relationship
- Flexibility around working hours (results matter more than time-tracking)
- Opportunity to own key UX/UI projects from concept to final handoff
- Supportive, design-led team that values feedback, growth, and autonomy
- Use modern tools and workflows (Figma, FigJam, Notion, etc.) to stay organized and efficient
