Senior Social Media Strategist

Position Summary

We’re looking for a Senior Social Media Strategist who can turn a content calendar into a growth engine.

You’ll lead social media strategy and execution for one of our B2B clients, managing content creation, campaign planning, and performance tracking across platforms like LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok, and Reddit.

This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution, ideal for someone who’s equal parts creative and analytical. You’ll collaborate with designers, copywriters, and account managers to build content that engages, converts, and drives measurable brand impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and execute the end-to-end social strategy across multiple platforms (organic + paid)
  • Build and manage a monthly content calendar that aligns with brand goals
  • Write and edit posts, captions, and social copy for various audience types and campaign objectives
  • Coordinate with design and content teams to create scroll-stopping visuals and creative assets
  • Monitor social media performance and track KPIs like reach, engagement, clicks, and conversions
  • Analyse insights and prepare performance reports with clear, actionable recommendations
  • Optimise publishing schedules, platform mix, and content types based on results
  • Stay on top of social trends, platform changes, and algorithm updates
  • Manage social interactions: replies, DMs, comments, and audience feedback
  • Present strategies and results to internal teams and client stakeholders

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in social media strategy or digital content marketing (B2B experience preferred)
  • Strong copywriting skills for short-form content and campaigns
  • Hands-on experience with platforms like LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok, and Reddit
  • Experience using tools like Buffer, Later, Hootsuite, or similar schedulers
  • Confident in using analytics platforms and building reports (native or via dashboards)
  • Familiarity with paid social (LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads Manager) is a big plus
  • Comfortable in client-facing roles and communicating strategies clearly
  • Bonus points if you have experience with creative tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
